Drew Maier
Marketing Consultant Drew Maier is dynamic, versatile, and experienced. With a Business Marketing degree as his academic foundation, Drew embraced the excitement and energy of working with different tech startups and agencies. With half a dozen Marketo and Salesforce Certifications to his name, he credits his expertise in the field to on-the-job learning combined with an innate draw to plan, discover, and achieve. In his role with Millikan Consulting, Drew brings dedication and thoroughness to his work — always choosing the smart path, but never the shortcut.
Drew is a passionate outdoorsman who draws parallels between the skillset of backcountry adventure, and that of marketing and sales operations. Whether in work, or the wild, he believes in surrounding himself with competent, capable, trustworthy people, pursuing ongoing education, staying updated on changing conditions, and working together as a team to overcome any high-stress situation which might arise.

+ What's the best part of your job?
Working with businesses to solve unique problems with tailored solutions for their specific needs is really rewarding. Our work is never generic or one-size-fits-all — we can bring creativity to what we do, and help our clients bring creativity to their tech solutions.
+ What do you see as the big-picture impact of your work?
The Millikan Consulting team spends a lot of time volunteering with organizations, events, and more. I am an EagleMount Volunteer, and I have also regularly volunteered with Run to the Pub, Heart of the Valley, and Give Big Gallatin Valley. And I see this influence in our work, too — when we help the wonderful people who are our clients, be successful in their work, they can help their communities in turn.
+ If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you be?
The desert. Canyonlands area. I love it there and try to make at least one trip every year. Biking, climbing, hiking, exploring… It's one of the few spots that always makes me feel like a kid again, running around, jumping off stuff, climbing over things, it's wonderful.
+ If we meet for happy hour, what'll you be having?
Probably an IPA. Maybe a Coldsmoke. I do love Tequila and Whiskey as well.
